Assalamu Alaykum and welcome to Darul Ulum Ahlus Sunnah (DUAS) an institution, based in Bolton (UK), dedicated to authentic Islamic scholarship, grounded in the classical tradition and connected through recognised chains of transmission to the Prophet ﷺ.

 

We offer full-time and part-time programmes in the Dars e Nizami — a structured and rigorous curriculum in the sacred sciences, taught by scholars of standing and designed for those who seek knowledge of real depth and substance.

Under the Guidance of Hazrat Allama Mufti Muhammad Ayub Ashrafi Shamsi

Darul Ulum Ahlus Sunnah is honoured to operate under the direct guidance and oversight of Hazrat Allama Mufti Muhammad Ayub Ashrafi Shamsi Sahib — a scholar of rare distinction, whose life has been devoted entirely to the service of Islam and its sacred sciences.

 

A qualified Mufti holding numerous ijazats, Hazrat Sahib carries a chain of scholarship and spiritual lineage of the highest order. He is the son-in-law of Huzoor Sadrul Ulama, Allama Mufti Sayyad Shah Ghulam Jeelani Muhaddis e Merthi, and holds the distinguished honour of being a Khalifa of Huzoor Shaikhul Islam, Syed Muhammad Madani Miyan Sahib Ashrafi Jilani. He is also a mureed of Hazrat Shaikhul Mashaikh, Syed Muhammed Mukhtar Ashraf Jilani Kitchhochhvi Sahib (Rahmatullahi Alayh).

 

Warm in character, deeply spiritual, and commanding in presence, Hazrat Sahib brings not only scholarly authority but a genuine commitment to the tarbiyah and spiritual nurturing of every student. He will personally oversee the institute, ensuring that the sacred knowledge passed through generations reaches our students with integrity, sincerity, and love.

For those travelling from further afield, DUAS offers 4 boarding places exclusively for full-time students. Accommodation includes meals, allowing students to remain fully focused on their studies within a structured and supportive environment.
